Rick uses a Pentax 67 camera and shoots all of his images using Fuji transparency film. He then scans the transparency to convert it to digital so that it may be processed for printing on a large format giclee printer. He uses a Roland Hi-Fi Jet printer and prints his images onto Fredrix Archival Water-Resistant canvas using pigmented inks that will resist fading for 100+ years. He then coats the canvas for further UV and scratch resistance. Once the canvas is dry, it is stretched onto stretcher bars so that it is ready to hang. The final product is a photograph with the feel, texture and presentation of a fine painting.
